Yui Hongo is the Priestess of Seiryuu, in the Anime Fushigi Yuugi. This series and Ah! My Goddess were some of the first anime series out side of Sailor Moon that I thought where absolute eye candy. I can remember printing out pictures of the art that I found on the internet and hanging to on my wall before I even knew what it was! So much detail went into their designs. One of the things that really attracted me to the art is flowing rich fabrics and delicate details of the design. I made this costume for the 2008 SoCal Cosplay Gathering.

I visited Kyle Johnsen of Cosplay.com to do a photoshoot in the Red Rock canyon outside Los Vegas,Nevada! There was still a little snow dusting the mountain tops, it made for a dramatic background!
