Reading shojou beat's Nana made me fall in love with the punk-rock star Nana Oosaki. The manga is known for its fresh japanese street style. I couldn't help but try and immitate her style. This was a simple costume I put together for Ani-magic 2005. Finding things in my closet and buying accessories to match was fun. Of course you can't look like Nana with out smoking a clove cigarette! Ohhh you know shes too cool for school!
