Handmaid May was the first cosplay costume I made. In the summer of 2002, my sister and I decided that we were going to try and cosplay at A-Kon. We had no idea what we were getting into. Cosplay is like a very addicting drug; after your first costume you start craving to make more! Needless to say our first experience at a convention was a blast. I chose May because of her adorable costume, plus I just love the anime. It is one of the sweetest and funniest series I've seen.
