 This costume had been on my mind for a long time. I had always wanted to create a snow fairy and finally I got it out of my system. I found a great, blue and white brocade ribbon (the one that edges the front panel of the skirt) and then based the rest of the costume off of that. The cape's hood is lined with feathers that really soften the linear design of the dress which also tie in with the feathers on the bodice's neckline.
