This costume was made for the 2002 Texas Renaissance Festival. The skirt and bodice was fairly simple in design but the devil was in the details. Each leaf was sewn on individually, overlapping one another. The edges of the over-skirt are also sewn with leaves cascading down to the bottom. The best part of this dress is the way it flows in the wind. Because of the lightweight fabric it bellows out, and yet the leaves weigh down the bottom (making it fun to prance around in). ^^
