Ayane was my very first cosplay costume. As I have mentioned earlier, I really love ninjas with an unbridled passion, and Ayane just so happens to be a Shinobi. Ok, this costume is made of SATIN! The bow and obi are made of beautiful Chinese brocade. I can remember seeing pictures of this costume after A-kon and thinking, "Wow! My costume looks like its GLOWING!!" so I learned first hand about the dangers of pure satin costumes. But despite that, I absolutely loved wearing it. It got tons of wonderful feedback at A-kon and it even won a judges award. After that experience I was addicted to cosplay.
