Christalyn Darkstar commissioned me to design an elaborate halloween costume inspired by the extravagant plumage of the peacock. She wanted something that would accentuate both her outgoing nature as well as her dark and mysterious side. I attached numerous peacock feathers and glittery ginkgo leaves, then created a detachable peacock tail she could hook under her bustle. We incorporated the colors and designs of her tattoos, and her fairy wings light up with encased LEDs.

Hello… I’m very curious how you are able to make collars stand up like that? ^_^
Hello Jerry
I patterned the collar to sit on the curve of the shoulders then added snaps that connect to the under bust corset. It keeps it taught enough to keep the stiff fabric of the collar standing up.
I absolutely love this. Is there any way you could tell me what pattern you used for the bust and the collar and how you attached the collar? That would be so amazingly helpful. Thank you!
You are amazing!!!
Do you sell the wings you used in the “original fairy costumes” or do you buy them from somewhere else. I am a fantasy photographer and I am looking for a new set of wings for my models. If you create them and sell them, can you let me know how much and where to find fairy wings on your store (not the dove ones, as pretty as they are).
